SBC offers you the chance to enjoy boating and a holiday on a high-quality, well-equipped boat with no cares. We handle everything else for you – a slip, maintenance, boat yard, insurance… We sell shares in only high-quality, new models, which we select based on their first-class accommodations and features as well as their resale value. With just one SB share, you can enjoy two weeks of care-free boating!
The cost of boat shares depends on the model and on how many weeks of use you choose. Weeks are organised in a rotation throughout the year, meaning that one of the two weeks is always between Midsummer and the end of July. The price range of boat shares is 5,000 – 40,000 Euros. If you would like the use of a boat for more than two weeks per summer, you can purchase two or more shares. If you choose not to use your weeks, notify SB and we will offer the boat for rent, so you benefit from the price of the sublet. The rotating-week system distributes weeks fairly among owners throughout the life cycle of the boat.
The boat will be sold after a given time period (about 8-10 years) depending on the condition of the boat and market conditions. A percentage of the boat’s sale price will be distributed to joint owners in proportion to the number of shares they own.
In addition to the share price, the share owner pays only an annual maintenance fee, which covers the boat’s maintenance costs, insurance, boat yard use and winter storage, etc. The fee varies according to the type of boat from 250 to 1,200 Euros per share per year.
